Monday:
  •  Due: Unit 4 Vocabulary 
  • Wild Styled West Project Overview
  • Announcements:
                 - Your presentation should be between 10-15 minutes.
                -Your group may do a Prezi or a PowerPoint (make sure to dandy it up)!
                -You can copy and paste, just remember to make the work your own
                -What you put on your Works Cited page is okay for you to draw from
                -The project will be graded as follows:
                                 a) Individual participation: 25 pts.
                                 b) Meeting Group Deadlines: 15 pts.
                                 c) Prezi or PowerPoint: 40 pts.
                                 d) Group Presentation to Class: 20 pts.
                                 Total Points: 100 pts.
  • Students write a Plan of Action (due at the end of class)
  • Finish Works Cited on Google Docs
  • Students continue to research their topics

Tuesday:
  • Groups continue to research their topics
  • Start on Prezi or Powerpoint
  • Hand back Quiz 2.2: Civil War Ends

Wednesday:
  • Focus Lesson on Prezi!
  • Groups continue to research
  • Groups work on PowerPoints or Prezis.

Thursday:
  • Groups continue to research
  • Groups work on PowerPoints or Prezis.
  • Prezi or PowerPoint due by end of class!
  • Email Mr. Kelly your PowerPoint in an attachment or the link to your Prezi!

Friday:
  • Work on a creative way to present your PowerPoint or Prezi.
  • You could do this as:

                      -a skit using the historical characters you researched
                      -a TV show, Talk Show, or News Report
                      -a game show, like Jeopardy, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, or Family Feud
                      -Other creative formats
  • Due by the end of class: Creative Presentation Summary

  • No School on Monday!
  • Be ready to perform next Tuesday (Dec. 11)
