  • Watch Video: How the Alps Were Made
  • Students Complete: 3-2-1 Activity for the video (turn in at end of class!)
  • Reminder: Bring computers for rest of the week!!

Tuesday:
  • Parent-Teacher Conferences
  • Per. 1-4 (No Geography today!)

Wednesday:
  • Reminder: Bring computers for today
  • Landform Definitions Worksheet (students will look vocabulary up on internet and complete this worksheet)
  • Review examples of landforms as a class
  • Introduce Landform Landscape Project
  • Sign up for groups (groups of 2-3)

Thursday:
  • Parent-Teacher Conferences
  • Per. 5-8 (70 min.)

  • Reminder: Bring computers for today
  • Introduce Landform Landscape Project
  • Demonstrate how to use boxes
  • Demonstrate how boxes will be stored for weekend
  • Sign up for groups (groups of 2-3)
  • Students review: landscape tutorial in group
  • Groups sketch rough draft of Landform Lanscape
  • Groups make needed supplies list
  • Groups begin sculpting using tin foil
  • Groups begin creating labels and definitions
  • Students begin cutting strips of paper for their project



Friday:
