Monday:
  • Two Hour Delay
  • Theme: Longitude
  • Read p. Latitude/Longitude Packet as a class to introduce concepts of  longitude.
  • Students should label key concepts on the world diagrams (p.1-2). Key concepts include: North/South Poles, Prime Meridian, Meridians, International Date Line
  • Have students buddy up with a parent to complete the activities on p.2 of the Latitude and Longitude Packet.


Tuesday:
  • Study Buddies: Students work on Latitude/Longitude Activities on p. 3-4 for a Stamp!
  • Study Buddies play Battleship! p.5-6

Wednesday:
  • Assign: Quiz Tomorrow!
  • Review: Latitude/Longitude Challenge (turn in)
  • Review: Map Challenge Packet (turn in)

Thursday:
  • Location Quiz!
  • When Finished: Work on Culturegrams!
  • Hand out: Climate packets

Friday:
